Two Fat Guys BBQ Sauce Review + GIVEAWAY!

This is some crazy delicious BBQ sauce.

I met the two fat guys themselves at the Illinois GFAF Expo, who told me about their strict < 5ppm gluten ELISA testing protocol. I knew I had to get my hands on some for a review/giveaway after devouring my sample at the show–served on a Frito!

I used their mild sauce (perfect little kick!) to make a tasty BBQ Chicken and Zucchini Casserole (recipe here) and the real Two Fat Guys flavor came through. With five different sauce flavor/heat options, TFG is easily my new go-to sauce for my cooking!

  1. Really hope I win!! I LOVE BBQ sauce. Wegman’s brand is my favorite so far–I love how it is naturally Gluten Free and is so clearly labeled. Sadly…no Wegman’s near me now (Mom brings me bottles every time she visits!) so I am looking for a new brand to try.

  2. I love adding BBQ sauce to my homemade sweet potato salmon sliders (http://caseythecollegeceliac.blogspot.com/2014/12/salmon-and-sweet-potato-sliders-recipe.html). The combo of sweet and tangy is to die for!

I am a vegetarian so I don’t have a BBQ recipe I like, however, I do enjoy dipping my veggie nuggets into BBQ sauce!

  4. Oh goodness, I don’t have a BBQ recipe! Sounds like something to put on my list 🙂

My favorite recipe is BBQ Chicken Pizza. I make the dough from scratch a couple of days in advance, top it with a bit of tomato sauce and BBQ sauce. I add mozzarella, grilled chicken, caramelized onions, bacon, arugula, smoked cheddar and when it comes off the grill I hit it with some fresh cilantro.
