Getting my Goodie On.

A girl’s dream arrived on my doorstep last week: a box filled with big packs of cookies, a bright pink fitted t-shirt, and a fun tote bag. Oh Goodie Girl Cookies, you’ve stolen my heart.

While I did receive bags of all 5 incredible flavors Goodie Girl creates, I couldn’t imagine opening them all now and having none left to stash in my apartment cabinets for the cold winter days [yay for a later expiration date!] Nonetheless, I picked three types to try (partly because I was even sent some little snack packs) over the last week: Oatmeal Raisin, Midnight Brownie, and Quinoa Chocolate Chip. Here are some of my thoughts!

*All opinions are my own and I was sent the package from GGC in exchange for an honest review.*

Oatmeal Raisin: What a delightfully crunchy texture, and definite vanilla taste coming through! I savored every bite of this cookie, though I do wish the raisins were a bit less sticky. I can see myself eating these long-term.

Midnight Brownie: I opened the snack pack of these and saw the most adorable little button-sized cookies. The color really is dark black midnight (shockingly so!) and made for an ideal coffee cookie. I did try one without my afternoon coffee, and must say, they are very much like biscotti and make for an afternoon treat! Definitely could benefit from some more chocolate chips within each one though.

Quinoa Chocolate Chip: Yum, yum, yum. Another great crunchy cookie with the true chocolate chip cookie taste, despite having the good-for-you quinoa. Though I generally prefer soft chocolate chip cookies, this was a nice change of pace!

I cannot wait to sport my Goodie Girl shirt, and try the Mint Slims and Crunchy Chaos cookies. Thank you so much for sending me such a fun package, Goodie Girl!

Take it easy, but take it.
